These inquiries offer up how the Cozy-Cloud made wiggle room for a crip server and network infrastructuring practices to unfold emergent actions of access making. Through these actions making sense of the misfitting between the politics and practices of disability justice and those sedimented within network configurations. These inquiries take the form of solo and collaborative action research and creative technical practices of access making. These works were presented at Mesh Festival and published in Brand-New-Life journal as well as informed by a residency at the BDFI.
These inquiries question how we came together through crip intimacies and access practices to make-sense of the misfitting that we felt within the prescribed configurations of network infrastructures. By wiggling room for these frictions we independently figured out what life affirming network infrastructures, practices and relations we desired within and beyond these systems. In this approach bringing focus to how disabled experiences, embodied expertise and independent practices offer up an ambivalent relationship to infrastructures that can (dis)orient the normalizing network configurations towards ones that are shaped by the bodyminds they impact and misfit.
This entry shares the cozy installation and relaxation space for the Cozy-Cloud. It brings together the soft cozy-cloud cushions, the easy read cozy intentions and the tactile server base.
This entry shares the first theme for the Cozy-Cloud's website. Working with Pico, this light weight and (somewhat) accessible blog hosted the server's original Cozy-Intention.
This entry shares the cozy intentions for the cozy-cloud. These intentions both shape the promise and orientation of this crip network infrastructure. In their medium these intentions also offer up how Alt texts and network access practices can make room to imagine this infrastructure through care, joy and creativity.
This entry shares the crip infrastructure made in collaboration with Mariana Marangoni called En-crip-ing Time. This infrastructure crips the Cozy-Cloud server's clock and manifests poetic server protocols that offer up how networks might be (dis)oriented through crip time and intimate maintenance practices.
This entry shares the latest theme for the Cozy-Cloud blog and which focuses on being much more accessible. This was to try to make it more accessible to collaborations, but also for the content to be picked up more clearly by screen readers and access technologies.
